RecipeThing

RecipeThing is a site that provides you with a great way to find and organize your recipes as well as plan meals and generate shopping lists. Once you create an account, you can browse recipes using the search function and then add them to your recipe box if you want to keep that recipe handy.

RecipeThing also has a “your pantry” tab where you can enter the items you have on hand in three different categories: Always have it, usually have it, and usually don’t have it. RecipeThing keeps track of the items required for recipes and the ones you have on hand so when you plan your meals it can automatically generate a shopping list for you. It’s really easy to enter new recipes and RecipeThing is pretty good at looking at the recipe you enter and determining what ingredients you’ll need to shop for.
