Spinach and Goat Cheese Pizza
In seems that Sundays have become a pizza day in our house of late. We have been really enjoying making our own pizza crust, and my oldest really enjoys helping us press out the dough. He does however, always want to make a weird shaped pizza, like once I had to make a Mickey Mouse pizza crust for him. This weeks pizza was probably one of my favorites. We made a Spinach and Goat Cheese Pizza, and it was excellent.
To get started, I like to pre-bake the crust in a 425 degree oven for about 10 minutes, to help get it the crust nice and crispy.
Once you have pre-baked the crust add on a nice layer of pesto sauce.
Add on a bit of mozzarella cheese.
Add on on the spinach.
Add on some the goat cheese.
Finally, add on a bit more mozzarella cheese and put in the oven at 425 for 10 more minutes.
After 10 minutes, take out of oven, slice and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1 homemade pizza crust, pre-baked. Check mine out if your are looking for one: Pizza Experience
- Mozzarella cheese
- Frozen Spinach, thawed and drained of water
- Goat Cheese
Put as much of the toppings as you desire on the pizza, I generally don't measure these out.
