Thai Cooking Classes Bangkok Tom Kha Gai


Here is another free thai cooking Class reciepe. We are sticky there on the Cheap Charlies site for the time being some time in the future we will probbably make a new blog specificly for Isan House Thai Cooking

"Tom-Kha-Gai"
Spicy Chicken Soup with Coconut Milk

Ingrediants



200g Chicken breast sliced

100g straw mushrooms cut in to half

3 kaffir lime leaves tkorn into pieces

2 Sticks lemongrass cut into 1" long

5 galangal sliced thinly

2 thai coriander leaves cut 1" long

3-6 Red small chillies bruised

1 cups of chicken stock

2 cups of coconut milk

3 tablespoons lime juice ar to taste

4 tablespoons Fish sauce or to taste

1/2 teaspoon sugar




Preparations

Bring the coconut milk to the boil over medium heat. Add the chicken, galangal, lemongrass and mushrooms continue boiling until cooked, Add seasonings, fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and chilies, Remove from the heat,

Garnish with coriander leaves, kaffir lime leaves, serve with rice.
Hint: Diminish, the amount of chillies if you don't want the soup to be too hot.
Tip: Cook gently to prevent the coconut milk from separating.
