Renaldo Wynn Among Redskins’ Final Cuts
Filed under: Redskins, NFC East, Washington, DC
For a team that told everyone that the defensive line was fine … they sure are letting guys walk. Last week, it was DT Joe Salave’a cut. Today, it is Renaldo Wynn:
“One door closes, another door opens,” [Wynn] said. “I feel like I definitely have a few more years of playing left in me. I feel good.“I have some good memories here, five years of memories, and that can’t be taken away. I enjoyed it while I was here. I developed relationships that I’ll always cherish, from my teammates and coaches to people in the community.”
Wynn was one of the longest tenured Redskins. Other cuts made today:
- QB Jordan Palmer
- RBs Fred Beasley, Brian Bell and Dee Brown
- WRs Burl Toler, Carl Berman, Ryan Hoag and Corey Bradford
- TE Jake Nordin
- OL Calvin Armstrong, Kili Lefotu and Taylor Whitley
- DL Mattias Askew, Alex Buzbee and Justin Hickman
- DBs Omar Stoutmire, Byron Westbrook, Ade Jimoh and John Eubanks
- LBs Dallas Sartz, Matt Sinclair and Anthony Trucks
Now, the Redskins have just 52 players on their roster … so there could be something in the works [or the Redskins are looking at adding someone from another team’s cuts]
