After portraying Father Mulcahy in the movie version of M*A*S*H, he became well-known for his television work as Clayton Endicott III on the sitcom Benson, and as Odo on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Currently, he plays attorney Paul Lewiston on the David E. Kelley-created Boston Legal.
