Chip Saltsman is a Republican politician. He is currently the chairman of the Tennessee Republican Committee. He has aroused controversy for distributing a Christmas CD with the parody song "Barack, the Magic Negro" on it, sung to the tune of "Puff, the Magic Dragon." He is also currently seeking chairmanship of the Republican National Committee.

Now he's barely treading water, weakly defending himself against charges of racism by blaming the "liberal media."
