India not sending right movies for Oscar nominations: Pookutty While talking to the media in Chennai, Oscar-winning sound technician Resul Pookutty, who is part of the elite 6,000 member organization in Academy of Motion Pictures that chooses Oscar winners, stated that the Film Federation of India is not nominating the right movies for the Oscars.
