For fans of Rex Grossman and the Chicago Bears. Rex Grossman is a quarterback and has been in the NFL for 4 seasons. His fan base is erroding, with weaker and weaker performances for the Bears recently. Lets hope he turns things around on offense.
Former Bears starting quarterback and first round pick Rex Grossman fumbled and threw an interception in his debut with the Texans against the Chiefs.
He did have to deal with a wet playing field for most of the game, because of the bad weather.
Rex injured his hamstring and will miss up to five weeks. He is listed behind Dan Orlovosky and Matt Schaub in Houston, I don’t know if he’ll ever get another shot in this league. I truly believe if he is in the right system, he can shine, but... Read Full Story
Looks like we could finally see Devin Hester returning some punts, and that could start Sunday night vs the Broncos:
Devin Hester has yet to return a punt during exhibitions. That could change Sunday night at Denver, probably the final dress rehearsal for the starters before the Sept. 13 opener at Green Bay. “He’s going to be ready to go,” said Dave Toub, the special teams coordinator. The Bears have auditioned six players at punt returns, including rookies D.J. Moore, Johnny Knox, Derek... Read Full Story

CBS Sportsline.com says the Bears will not have Devin Hester involved with kick or punt returns during the 2009 season:
Bears wide receiver Devin Hester is a changed man. After voicing frustration last season with his inability to break punt or kickoff return touchdowns while learning to be a wide receiver, Hester this year has accepted a slimmed down special teams responsibility. He’s going to focus on being a better receiver. He’s a more serious player overall and he has even given up... Read Full Story
Bears wide receiver/kick returner Devin Hester spoke about QB Jay Cutler recently and this is what he had to say:
“If you haven’t been around a person like Cutler, how could you say something like that?”
“Can’t judge a book by its cover, if you haven’t sat down and talked to him, how could you say something like that? He’s calm in the huddle. He makes us laugh and he jokes around before the ball is snapped. That’s the kind of quarterback who is relaxed and says, ‘Let’s play ball... Read Full Story

I do realize that this is an anabolic steroid blog, and I do apologize to my faithful readers, but I have to get this off my chest. I am a true blue Chicago Bears fan. This has been true since I was 5 years old. I also have to say that we are the best 5-4 team in the league right now. But watching Rex Grossman today brought me to a big conclusion today. That there is a huge chance that every game that Kyle Orton is out we will lose. How the hell do you get to the NFL without the... Read Full Story
CHICAGO, Nov. 2 (UPI) --
Chicago quarterback Rex Grossman ran for the winning score and the Bears' defense caused three second-half turnovers Sunday in a 27-23 win over Detroit.
Grossman, subbing for the injured Kyle Orton, led the Bears (5-3) on two touchdown drives in the second half for a come-from-behind victory over the winless Lions.
Orton suffered an ankle injury and left late in the first half.
The two Bears quarterbacks combined for 166 yards passing and Orton also scored a... Read Full Story
