Pam’s String Quartet Concert: November 15th, 3pm, 667 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI

Pam Lowell’s String Quartet, Col’ Areo, is putting on a concert at the Music School in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. Proceeds from the concert will go to the Rhode Island Food Bank. Tickets will be sold at the door or people can donate a can good instead of paying for a ticket.
The four members have all been playing for many years and they recently decided to form a quartet. There are two violinists, one viola player, and one cellist. They will be playing a few pieces of well-known classical music: Dvorak’s Quartet No. 12 (American), and Haydn’s Emperor Quartet.
I’ve been to a few rehearsals and they sound great.
We will be notifying the local newspapers and television stations to help spread the word. We are thinking of talking to some pastry shops in the area to see if they would like to participate in the event. Conrad Ferla with Mass. Mutual Insurance has volunteered to be there to answer any questions people may have about life insurance.
