Rhonda McCullough, wife of the late comedian Bernie Mac, has filed a wrongful-death suit against Mac’s dermatologist Dr. Rene M. Earles. For 20 years Earles regularly treated lesions on Mac caused by his inflammatory lung disease, sarcoidosis. Bernie Mac 's widow, Rhonda McCullough , is blaming her late husband's former dermatologist, Dr. Rene Earles , for the comedian's death. According to TMZ, McCullough filed a wrongful death suit against Earles in a Chicago Circuit Court and is asking for $50,000 in damages. The widow of the late actor/comedian Bernie Mac has filed a wrongful death suit against the doctor who was caring for Mac shortly before he died in 2008. According to papers filed, Rhonda McCullough, Mac’s wife of more than 30 years, alleges his longtime dermatologist, Dr. Rene Earles, failed to diagnose Bernie with pneumonia, and didn’t send him from the clinic to a hospital in a timely fashion.
