Joseph Gordon-Levitt can seemingly do no wrong. He's already had a year most actors would kill for, starring in the billion dollar blockbuster Dark Knight Rises and the stunt-heavy Premium Rush. But, he's just getting warmed up. In November, Levitt will appear as Abraham Lincoln's son in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln and this month, he rules the fantastic sci-fi thriller Looper, alongside Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt.
We sat down with Levitt and his good friend, writer/director Rian Johnson, at the Four Seasons in San Francisco to talk about their latest collaboration. The two turned heads in a major way in 2005 with the cult favorite Brick and anticipation has been high for Looper. The movie lives up to expectations and more, combining multiple genres within a freakishly thought-provoking storyline about an assassin (Levitt) who must kill a future version of himself (Willis).
After we talked iPhone 5 and the upcoming release of the Lincoln trailer, Levitt, Johnson and I got down to business, check it:
