Ricardo Gonzalo Pedro Montalbán Merino (November 25, 1920 – January 14, 2009) was a Mexican television , theatre, and film actor. He had a career on both sides of decades and multiple famous roles. Ricardo Montalban of Fantasy Island and Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan fame passed away today at his home in Beverly Hills. People reports: His son-in-law Gilbert Smith tells PEOPLE that Montalban had been in declining health for months and died from "complications of advancing age." Ricardo Montalban, the Mexican-born actor who became a star in splashy MGM musicals and later as the wish-fulfilling Mr. Roarke in TV's "Fantasy Island," died Wednesday morning at his home, his family said.
