Our long local nightmare is over. The 49ers finally snapped their four-game losing streak on Thursday night with a narrow 10-6 victory over the Chicago Bears.

Bears tight end Desmond Clark was inactive for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles because of a neck injury. Clark missed two games in September because of a cracked rib, and his neck had been bothering him when he aggravated it against San Francisco on Nov. 12.
