" Livin' La Vida Loca " made Martin the first Latin American-style singer from England in history to have a U.K. number one hit. He has sold over 55 million albums around the world, charting twenty Top 10 hits on the US Latin Charts, seven of which reaching #1 and a total of over 30 hit singles.

Ricky Martin recently celebrated the first birthday of Valentino and Matteo, his children through an unknown surrogate mother, with a day at the beach, and he shared a series of intimate family snaps with his fans.In one picture, the tanned star, clad just in swim trunks, smiles into the camera, clutching a tot in each arm. In another, he is seen building sand castles with the boys, and he also posted individual pictures of the children riding their toy trucks.
Ricky, 37, is loving fatherhood and insists he is raising the children single-handedly. He has previously said:
I don't have a nanny. I'm doing this on my own because I don't want to miss a moment. I'm the one who changes the diapers, the one that feeds them, the one that bathes them, the one that puts them to sleep.
