Rihanna Bruises

A photo that purportedly shows Rihanna's face with bruises, scratches and swelling from an attack allegedly at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown was posted Thursday night by the celebrity Web site TMZ. The image shows welts on the woman's forehead above each of her eyebrows, marks on her cheek and around her lips and general swelling. TMZ did not say how it obtained the photo, when it was taken or by whom.     Rihanna has been spotted vacationing in Mexico -  getting mental and emotional support.   The Insider released footage of Rihanna looking better than the notorious TMZ picture that was released last week.   Apparently the physical bruises have disappeared, but sources are reporting the singer has sought counseling to deal with her emotional scars.   Some reports have even stated that Rihanna was pregnant at the time of the alleged assault.  At this point we really don’t know what to believe, but we will keep you updated as this unfortunate saga continues. A new report alleges that singer Rihanna, 20, confessed to police that there was ongoing physical abuse in her relationship with boyfriend Chris Brown, 19. TMZ cites law enforcement sources that claim Rihanna, while cooperating with police into their investigation of Brown’s alleged violent attack on her, confessed that it was not the first time Chris Brown had hit her.
