Lindsay Lohan and her relationship with new love Riley Giles has been given the seal of approval by her father.

The star, 21, met Giles at the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah, where she spent much of the summer tackling substance abuse issues -- and her dad Michael is delighted.

He says, "Riley is a good kid. He comes from a good family. It's not about what we did in the past. It's about righting those wrongs.

"They keep each other in line. They go to meetings with one another."
