Media2Politic Not Ready to Back Candidate
On September 27th, director and actor Rob Reiner officially announced his backing for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (story…).

In a related story, Media2Politic has announced that it will back any candidate that will increase their chances of having their story covered on CNN.
According to the Los Angeles Times and Variety, Reiner, producer and actor has decided to throw his star power behind the New York Democrat’s White House bid and will throw a star-studded fundraiser for her in October.
Meanwhile Media2Politic will throw a fundraiser at the Dunkin Donuts on 96th street and 5th avenue. No national celebrities will be present, and Media2Politic recognizes that the event will not be covered with the same intensity and Reiner’s event.
While 2 buck bagels and 1 buck coffees do not match the 5,000 dollar plates at celebrity dinners, the founders of Media2Politic apparently ignore the influence of money on politics, and work under the assumption that their collection of voting citizens is equal to Reiner’s celebrity collection.
“Every one of the Democratic candidates is strong, but Hillary is head and shoulders above the rest,” Reiner told the Times.
The founders of Media2Politic, speaking amongst themselves, state that “Due to the minor differences between the Democratic candidates, we should be self-serving and endorse anyone and everybody to feed our desire for media recognition.”
