It has been reported that in May 2009 while filming on the Adam Sandler film Grown Ups comedian Rob Schneider at a church in Southboro, Massachusetts swore up on the altar and made blasphemous statements. Several of the extras who witnessed this incident were furious including some of the people connected with the church. His statements were not connected with his dialogue.
