Robbie Williams Involved In Paparazzi Robbery?

British singer Robbie WIlliams is involved in the investigation of a Bahamas robbery, BBC reports.

While police have been careful to stress that Williams is in no way a suspect in the robbery of two celebrity photographers (read: paparazzi), they think there may be a connection between members of Williams' entourage and the crime.

Apparently Williams and his crew were hanging out on the beach in Exuma when a pair of paparazzi appeared and began snapping away. Some of Williams' friends argued with the photographers, who have been named by the Huffington Post as Matt Sanchez of Splash News and freelancer Carlos Mendez.

A few hours later, four armed men allegedly broke into the photographers' hotel room and stole $20K of equipment.

A photo of Robbie Williams may not be worth much stateside, but in the UK - and throughout Europe - the man is an icon. He actually moved to the United States several years ago to avoid being hounded by prying photographers.
