Robert John Downey Jr. is an Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning American actor and sometimes, musician. His breakout role was a movie called Less Than Zero, where he played a high-society yuppie burnout – the movie was a self-fulfilling prophecy. Or so it seemed for a while. He eventually cleaned up and starred on the television series Ally McBeal as well as in a number of supporting and lead film roles, including the blockbuster smash, Iron Man.
