Conservative columnist and CNN talk show host Robert Novak, whose unmasking of a covert CIA agent sparked a political and legal firestorm, died on Tuesday, US media reported. He was 78. The Chicago Sun-Times, where Novak worked as a columnist during a storied media career stretching back more than four decades, said he died at home in Washington after a battle with cancer. Political columnist Robert Novak, who was a central figure in the Valerie Plame CIA leak case, has died after a battle with brain cancer. His wife of 47 years, Geraldine Novak, tells The Associated Press that he died at his home in Washington, D.C. early Tuesday. He was 78. Robert Novak struck a pedestrian with his Corvette in Washington, DC. Robert Novak, a political columnist and pundit was cited for striking a pedestrian in downtown Washington, DC.
