Robert Alan Soloway, a.k.a. the "Spam King", was arrested on May 20, 2007 on charges of identity theft, money laundering, and mail, wire, and e-mail fraud. He faces up to 26 years in prison.
Spammer Robert Alan Soloway is facing heavy prison time and stiff fines after pleading guilty in U.S. District court to single counts of mail fraud, email fraud and tax evasion. The original indictment included over 40 criminal charges including aggravated identity theft, money laundering and wire fraud.

Robert Soloway dubbed the "Spam King" was sentenced in Washington yesterday, according to an article in the Seattle Intelligencer. For his misdeeds, Soloway was sentenced to just under four years. Notably, Soloway was the second person to be prosecuted under the Can-Spam Act .
