Celebrity look of the day: Halle Berry in Roberto Cavalli at the Women in Hollywood event. Even though she’s wearing a dress, I love the idea of a bold skirt paired with a more neutral top…so often it’s the top that’s the focus, so it’s nice to subvert the norm.

Gucci's Spring 2009 collection had many maxi dresses, some with geometric prints. Also on display were very feminine military dresses, suits with low-slung pants, leggy micro caftans in bold prints and sexy safari looks. This gorgeous little baby and toddler dress from Roberto Cavalli is becoming really popular - it’s easy to see why!
Made from a luxurious cotton and silk baby pink fabric, the dress has a Peter Pan collar, short puff sleeves and a button fastening down the back. The pleated skirt sits on top of the cotton lining, a short length of which peeps out below the hem. A small corsage of velvet flowers and ribbons sit on the waistband for additional glamour.

This cleverly designed baby shirt will always look smart, and stay tucked into trousers. I remember endlessly tucking shirts in for my boys when they were younger, as nothing looks more untidy than shirt tails hanging out. For small boys and babies the problem is worse, but Roberto Cavalli have released this lovely shirt that has an ingenious baby-grow bottom half, keeping that shirt in place. How useful is that?
