MUSIC NEWS- Apparently still having trouble paying their rent, classic rockers STEELY DAN has announced additional shows this fall, as part of their stellar " Rent Party '09 " tour, again with some multiple-night engagements in several cities. The run starts off off October 12 & 13 in Seattle, WA continuing to California for several shows, before wrapping up the western USA leg with an October 27 show in Phoenix. A November 8 concert in Minneapolis, MN, ends the tour (full itinerary below). Peterson in 2008 With Blue Cheer Band Mates Paul Whaley and Duck MacDonald. Blue Cheer bassist and lead singer Richard Allan “Dickie” Peterson has passed away on October 12, in Erkelenz, Germany, where he lived, after a long fight against cancer. He was 63.
