Mystery Rock

I recently purchased a slab of material at an estate sale which I cannot identify. The tag said "varncite" but none of my reference materials mentions this term. The family running the sale knew nothing about rock. The matrix material is a light pink with black inclusions similar to rhodonite. The dark patches are an emerald green.
