Stuckey Collapses, Taken to Hospital

Rodney Stuckey , a guard for the Detroit Pistons, collapsed on the bench during the team's NBA game last night and was taken to the hospital, according to the Sun Times . The game was in Cleveland, and late in the 3rd quarter Stuckey went unconscious and fell into the arms of the team's strength coach. He is reportedly breathing on his own and conscious now at the Cleveland Clinic, and there is no official word about the cause of the incident. ( Reuters ) - The Detroit Pistons , looking to improve under new coach Lawrence Frank , have re-signed leading scorer Rodney Stuckey , the National Basketball Association (NBA) team said on Saturday. The terms of the contract were not released but local media said the deal was worth $25 million over three years for the free-agent guard.
