FoxSports and the AP bring us word that Roger Clemens' defamation suit against former trainer Brian McNamee has been once again by the original judge. "U.S. District Court Judge Keith Ellison on Tuesday reaffirmed his earlier ruling against Clemens. If Clemens "believes that the federal investigators or the Mitchell Commission overstepped the bounds of the law, he is free to bring suit against those enemies, subject to possible immunity," the judge said. "This is the final nail in Clemens' Texas coffin," said Richard Emery, a McNamee attorney. He said McNamee intends to sue Clemens for defamation. "We want Clemens to testify in New York ... Roger Clemens is remaining defiant on allegations he used steroids. Roger Clemens is asking baseball fans who are they gonna believe: him or their lying eyes? The hurler went on Mike and Mike in the Morning and once again flatly denied using any sort of banned substance during his MLB career. From the New York Daily News : In his first interview since appearing on CBS' "60 Minutes" 17 months ago, Roger Clemens spoke for nearly 14 minutes Tuesday on ESPN Radio's "Mike and Mike in the Morning" and once again vehemently denied ever using or receiving performance-enhancing drugs from Brian McNamee, the former ... Roger Clemens was on the Mike and Mike show this morning on ESPN radio and continued to deny using PEDS. I wonder if this guy has lied so much that he believes his lies now?? I will get more into this later on but he still says Andy Pettitte misremembers their conversations and that there is no way Brian McNamee has his dna because he never gave him HGH or steroids, that is pretty funny Roger. The reason he broke his silence is because a book about him came out today. Read Full Story

Now that the smoke has cleared from this 2009 baseball season and all games are now in the books, it's a good time to objectively reflect on the regular season. This is especially true for Mets fans, since once again, there will be no October baseball played in Queens. Despite sweeping the final series of the season against the Houston Astros at Citi Field, even the most optimistic Mets fans would be hard pressed to call this season anything...

The Daily News I-Team is still around? I thought Tony Isabella was involved and it just sorta dissolved. Former congressman Tom Davis, who once led the House committee that helped destroy the baseball legacies of Mark McGwire and Roger Clemens, says he applauds McGwire’s return but thinks Clemens was in denial when he testified before Congress. “Everybody was speeding, and these are just the guys that got the tickets,” says Davis of the...

Move over Edgar Mitchell...we’ve (actually Mike Silva) made contact! Since Clemens, and these are his words (via a spokesman), “is as direct and honest in his communications on Twitter as he is face to face” I decided to give him my form of direct and honest communication. After all, I pride myself on being equally direct and honest on twitter as I am in person. With that, I asked Clemens the following question: @rogerclemens So Rocket...
