According to Wikipedia: Roger Harry Daltrey, CBE is a rock vocalist, songwriter, and actor, best known as the founder and lead singer of the English rock band, The Who. He has also acted in a large number of film, theatre and television roles. Daltrey and his second wife, former model Heather Taylor, have two daughters, Rosie and Willow, and a son, Jamie. He also has a son, Simon, with his first wife, Jacqueline.
On Tuesday evening Roger Daltrey of The Who performed together with Dave Stewart and Joss Stone at a charity event for the UCLA Early Childhood Partial Hospitalization Program (ECPHP) for autism (today 1 out of 150 kids has to face it and 1 out of 90 boys). LONDON (Reuters) - The Who guitarist Pete Townshend, behind rock operas "Tommy" and "Quadrophenia", is writing a new musical "Floss", about getting old. The Who star Roger Daltrey is to embark on a solo tour for the first time in 20 years.
Roger, 65, will perform a number of shows later this year on The Use It Or Lose It Tour to keep his voice in shape.
He said: "I've only ever toured solo to keep my voice in shape. Singers need to sing."
