I was pleasantly surprised when I spotted an Asian face opening Roland Mouret’s Spring/Summer 2010 Show.  That just comes to show the fashion world truly appreciates all kind of beauties from all corners of the world. Viva la Difference! Liu Wen was the name of the Chinese model, who graced Mr. Mouret’s glamorous runway as first face. Dressed in a deep V-necked dress in champagne gold with glimmering excess jewellery, Ms. Liu lighted up the illustrious runway with her grace and seductive Eastern appeal [...] Read the rest of this entry » Read Full Story

Regular readers will know that I am not Jennifer Aniston's biggest fan. Mostly because she tends to be a tad bland on the red carpet. Never taking risks, usually always in black. Her off-duty style is always the same too. Seven jeans, and a black top. Snooze-ville. But for the first time since, well, ever. I really liked something Jennifer Aniston wore. On Friday the actress was spotted sneaking out the back door of the Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica with her bodyguard, looking absolutely fabulous wearing a Roland Mouret Spring 2006 classic black cleavage-enhancing dress, teamed with black and white striped ... Some pretty for a rainy (in our neck of the woods anyway) fall Sunday. Style.com lets you know what's what: "Roland Mouret found a few key ways of moving on this season. His antennae picked up the need to add something looser and more naturalistic to his line, and as a Frenchman, that oriented him toward a North African vibe. His father served in the French army in Africa, and brought home souvenirs that were part of the household when the young Roland was growing up, and thoughts of djellabas and Zouaves and jewelry from the souk occurred to him for Spring. Reese Witherspoon wore a RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2009 sheath dress, when she attended an Avon conference in Las Vegas yesterday. This dress was a chic, but conservative choice, fitting for the occasion. The petrol blue dress has pleats on the cap sleeves and skirt, plus a high neckline with origami folds. Her look was complete with patent purple Brian Atwood heels, and a simple bracelet. Roland Mouret pieces have seductive cuts, with such a classic, timeless style. This dress is no exception. I need this in my closet, like now. Source & Source http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss Read Full Story
