I've played it before, a while ago, but I figured I'd give it its due tribute with a brief review. Mount&Blade, independently developed by TaleWorlds, is a combat-based RPG that takes place in an obvious time setting, in a generic, but nonetheless scenic medieval world. This last Saturday was Worldwide D&D Game Day . I previously mentioned that the local HobbyTown USA was actually participating in the event , which somewhat surprised me. As it turns out, their D&D section was rather light and pretty much what I expected from a store that definitely caters to more mainstream hobbies than Dungeons & Dragons.
