Ron Goldberg won a seat on the Morris Township Committee in the Novemeber 6th, 2007 elections. He ran as a Democratic candidate. Ron Goldberg is from Morristown, NJ.
Goldberg's Democratic running mate, Jeffrey Grayzel, joined the Morris Township Committee in May 2007, after a months-long court fight over election results. Grayzel was the first Democratic committee member in over 30 years.
Ron Goldberg ran a "balanced goverment" campaign.

Ron is a 24-year resident of Morris of Township. He served as Cubmaster, Cub Scout Pack 228, Woodland School, Troop Committee Chairman, Boy Scout Troop 230, United Methodist Church, Field Maintenance Coordinator, Morristown United Soccer League, and was a drilling Naval Reservist.
This is Ron's third run for Morris Township Committee. Last year Ron received 48% of the vote. Ron is running because he wants Morris Township to be wholesome, and safe for children like his grandsons, and affordable for home owners like their parents.
He does not want to see the Morris Township repeat the cycle of decline and redevelopment that is so common.
Ron will draw from his education and family and professional experience to provide vision and leadership for Morris Township. He is grounded in the humanities and sciences with a BA in English literature from the University of Illinois and an masters degree from the University of California in Molecular Biology. He has gained leadership experience as an active duty naval officer, serving in and around Vietnam for 4 years, and is retired Naval Reserve Commander.
He has managed people, money and material resources, and products and services as a businessman. He was employed as Sales Manager, Pharmacia Biotechnology; Vice President, Dynochrom Inc. and Business Manager, Tyco Healthcare.
Ron's Wife, Marji, children Jill and Noah, and grandchildren provide him with both the reasons to want to serve Morris Township and the support and encouragement that energize him.
