My friend, Mark Pason, asked me if I had seen this film and I said, "A film about Lyme Disease?" He said, "Trust me, it's your kind of film, check it out." So, after hooking up my Roku , this was my first viewing experience. I liked the raw, 1970s feel of the direction very much. Rory Culkin plays the lead, Scott Bartlett, who's dad is played by Alec Baldwin, Mickey. As much as I can detest Alec Baldwin in real life, I LOVE HIS ACTING! He is so funny.. not since Providence, have I seen him... Read Full Story

Well, if you haven't seen the myriad movies that have made this point, up to and including last year's overwrought "Revolutionary Road," Derick Martini hammers it home with not-so-subtle symbolism in "Lymelife," his... I think Swine Flu is made up. I don't know why it popped up now and I don't know who did it, but it smacks of
fearmongering more than legitimate, justifiable concern. Compare it to the Spanish Flu pandemic of the early 20th

Rory Culkin and Emma Roberts hit the right balance of savviness and clumsiness as teenagers who are smart enough to see what their parents try to conceal. Both show depth and sure comic instincts, thanks to a script by writers who know the territory first-hand. They avoid the coy Sundance-style cuteness so often found in comedies about teenagers learning how dumb their parents can be. says ScreenDaily (http://www.screendaily.com/ScreenDailyArticle.aspx?intStoryID=40790).
