Rose McGowan was born in Florence, Italy, on September 5, 1973. The daughter of an Irish artist and a French writer, Rose was raised in the Italian chapter of the Children of God cult. The McGowan family (including 6 children, with Rose as the second oldest) relocated to Oregon when Rose was ten years old. Five years later, Rose left the commune and took off to live on her own, supporting herself with several odd jobs. Spotted this afternoon at a horse rental place on Magnolia and Riverside by the Los Angeles Equestrian Center: Rose McGowan!
