McGowan gained notoriety for her role in the 1995 dark comedy "The Doom Generation" before she was cast as Paige Matthews in the WB's "Charmed."

Director Robert Rodriguez and actress Rose McGowan, who had been engaged for two years, have broken things off , according to Radar Online.
The couple began dating after they met on the set of Grindhouse in 2006.
Rumor had it that the couple split for the first time about a year ago, but later got back together. They denied the original split, but have yet to comment on this one.
