The CW's reboot of Charmed airs Sunday, October 14. Ever since the network announced a revival of the '00s show was in the works, reaction has been mixed. OG fans were skeptical about a new crop of actresses portraying the witchy sisters they cherished for eight seasons and the original cast was vocal about being left out.

Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan — who played Piper, Prue, Phoebe, and Paige, respectively — all took to Twitter about the series being yet another victim in the ongoing reboot mania.

Let's just say they're not too... charmed.

Holly Marie Combs (Piper Halliwell)

Combs has not held back her disappointment about the revival. She thought it was distasteful that none of the original cast and crew were invited to reprise their roles and said it was unfair to imply the original version of Charmed wasn't feminist.

And the fact that the new Charmed Ones' names all start with the letter "M" like the Halliwell siblings? She wasn't too pleased about that either.

Doherty has been a little gentler, but that doesn't mean she's any less disappointed. Like Combs, the implication that Charmed wasn't a feminist series rubbed her the wrong way.

However, she liked the idea of a modern show that would inspire a new generation of women and that more starring roles would be afforded to up-and-coming actresses.

Her only wish was that the reboot would honor the show's legacy.

Alyssa Milano (Phoebe Halliwell)

Milano was also upset The CW didn't reach out to the original cast and crew, however, she was not interested in making a cameo. She has publicly wished for the success of the show, though.

"I wish that they would have come to us and we would have been involved since the beginning," she said in an interview with ET. "But having said that, I do hope that it reaches the newer generation and impacts that generation the way ours was able to do for its generation."

Rose McGowan (Paige Matthews)

Back in 2013, when rumors started circulating that there would be a Charmed revival, McGowan said Hollywood had run out of ideas. She even went as far as calling it "lame." And, well, she's not wrong.
