Roselyn Sanchez marries Eric Winter - Longoria tries to steal show

Actress/producer Roselyn Sanchez was married on Saturday to actor Eric Winter. The ceremony took place in San Juan Puerto Rico. The couple were married in front of some 250 guests that included such luminaries as Eva Longoria Parker (who made it a point to hog the press and photographers - it wasn't her wedding!!),  Amaury Nolasco, and PR Gov Anibal Acevedo Vila. 
One person who hasn't been named among the guests would be Eva Longoria's better half - Tony Parker. Back during the Alexandra Parressant crisis they did everything and went everywhere together. Eva seldom let Tony' s hand free from her vice like grip of desperation, as the pair made a big deal of making a united front. Then Parressant turned out to be some random Myspace kook, and it was safe for Longoria to let go of Parker and be seen in public with Mario Lopez again (nothing bad there - Lopez is rumoured to be quietly gay).
Still it's odd for Longoria to show in public, and in front of the press, without being clamped on to her hubby. Reminds me of Liv Tyler's bust up - people said it was through when she started showing up at premiers without her wedding ring - this was month's before the official announcement. Now Liv and hubby were apparently separated for sometime at that point - and she'd been actively seeking a divorce.  The rumour mill said that she'd tired of her Spacehog friend when he started becoming a 'leech' - I mean 'mooch'. I believe that was the word used. 
It's a testament to Liv that their split was not widely discussed in the media, even though enquiring minds were longing to know. Liv may affect that look of wide eyed bewilderment for the cameras, but she knows what she's about. If you doubt it then go over to IMBD and check out her body of work. Pretty impressive for a chick who did half of it while still being billed as a 'model'. In her early 30's she still got a ways to go in her professional shelf life. Now you don't build up a curriculum vitae like that by accident - her career trajectory is probably the result of  long range planning.
Not that Longoria is being a mooch. Parker is currently the earner in their partnership. Longoria's Desperate Housewives gig is winding down - this is the last year. Her film career when kaput fast - remember that thing she did with Michael Douglas. Her endorsements have dried up, the public is sick of her (probably cause she started getting too impressed with herself - you can only have yourself referred to as 'the lovely' Eva Longoria in press releases for so long before people get PO'd), and even her restaurant La Beso went tits up. 
You'll probably recall La Beso as that upscale Taco Bell she opened and then tried to hype by getting Kate Beckinsale in there every other night. Poor Kate lost all credibility when she went from actress to celebrity side kick for Longoria and the Cruise-Holmes. That came to a head when Longoria crossed swords with the paps over La Beso. Her celeb friends got sick of always being corralled in for the taco hour - so begged off on the grounds that Longoria always had the place packed with paps. Not one to be put of, Longoria promised to get them in hassle free through the back door. As her friends came and went Eva distracted the shutterbugs by offering them some freebies - stuff from the cheap end of the menu. Janet Charleston - proving that she remains as out of touch as ever - claimed it was a sure sign of savvy, and that Longoria was buttering up the media. It would've merely been a harmless stunt - but Longoria began crowing publicly about her cunning in The Great Taco Caper. That, plus the fact that La Beso was mismanaged, the staff was over worked, under paid, and the food was no great shakes - lead to it's closure in 6 months!
So Longoria's got dwindling options. She's got a growing waistline though. It lead to rumours of her being preggo until it turned out that she'd merely packed on the pounds during the strike. She claims she's still a size zero too - though it's a principle of mathematics, and finance, that not all zeros are equivalent. Longoria's zero seems to be getting a little denser. Longoria says she's got that under control. She's gone on a new sea food diet with no red meat, or poultry ("I've never been a fan of chickens"). It might even work too, if she can get worms! Still I wouldn't worry about her Parker association. Though she might be a fat tiresome mooch - that's one source of income that looks good. Parker married her without a pre nup! Though they may not get around much together anymore - it's a 'divorce at your own risk' situation.
