Rosie O'Donnell Hints at Split with Partner Kelli Carpenter

The two have been partners ever since they tied the knot in California in 2004, but Rosie's recent blog posts have lamented the difficulty of marriage. And in an interview with USA Today yesterday, O'Donnell didn't deny the breakup rumors. She said, "We're a family. We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues."
Kelli and Rosie on their wedding day (via ChinaDaily.com)Rosie wouldn't say whether Carpenter had moved out of the New York home they share with their four kids, although that's what the National Enquirer reported a couple of months ago. When pressed for more details, O'Donnell repeated her earlier statement and added, "Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties. But everything's fine and everybody's good and we're still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we're friendly and everything's all right."
USA Today notes the tears that welled up in Rosie's eyes as she spoke. She and Carpenter was one of the first same-sex celebrity couples ever to get hitched.
