Rotary Foundation of Rotary International

The Dallas Rotary Club and Friendly’s in Dallas joined forces recently to host a tasty fundraising event. More than $900 was raised that evening through a donation from the store and additional donations from their customers. The funds will benefit the annual Rotary Christmas Shopping Spree in early December for 45 less fortunate children in the Back Mountain area. Fifteen children from Dallas, 15 from Lake-Lehman and 15 from Northwest School...  

Members of the Rotary Club of Weirton and the community recently gathered at Dr. Sarjit Singh's residence where donations amounted to $10,000 for the club's scholarship fund. Steve Kladakis, chairman of the Rotary scholarship committee, stated the club was looking to raise $6,000 for the fund but managed to exceed that goal by nearly $4,000.

Clearwater Rotary Club will hold its annual Christmas Tree light up on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 6:00 p.m., at the usual location across from the hotel. There will be hot chocolate, little goodie bags, Santa, song sheets, and a box for food bank donations.
