I am a fan of talented, beautiful, creative, women of color. That sort of explains my interest in Ms. Rollins, huh? Someone else I love...actress Ruby Dee. The legend. The icon. Recently nominated for an Academy Award for her role in American Gangster, a recent winner of a SAG award, a Grammy award winner, Ms. Dee is fierce! There are some women you see on screen and they make you so proud to be black. For me, Ruby Dee is one of those women.
