Week 15 Preview: Cincinnati at San Francisco

Saturday night two teams that are long-gone when it comes to the postseason do battle at Monster Park in San Fran, as the 5-8 Bengals take on the 3-10 49′ers on Saturday Night Football. Both teams already have sights on 2008, and want to finish the 07 season on an up note.
Last week the 9′ers were beaten badly at home by the Vikings 27-7, and the score was closer than the game actually was. They were beaten early and often, never getting anywhere on offense, and their defense was gashed by the Vikings running game and a solid day from Tavaris Jackson. At 3-10, they are now down to Shaun Hill at QB, and have also signed Chris Weinke in case Hill goes down.
The Bengals beat the Rams at home 19-10 last week, but overall have had a down season. Their defense still gives up the big play, and their offense cannot find ways to get points, as even last week they had to settle for four Shayne Graham field goals and one Rudi Johnson TD.
Cincy does have more than enough on the offensive side of the ball to get the job done here. The 9′ers have no match for the big two Bengals WR’s, and the running game with Rudi, Kenny Watson and De De Dorsey will dominate San Fran all night. There will be no need to stay up late for this one, as the Bengals should have an easy time moving to 6-8.
