Wednesday afternoon

So, a busy day around the world, especially the political one. Out goes John Edwards for the Dems and out goes Rudy Giuliani for the Repubs. Gee, was Rudy even in the race to begin with? It sure didn't seem like it. At the Super Bowl in Phoenix, the week's first injury report will be out later this afternoon. It will be interesting to see just how the Patriots list one Tom Brady. I'm guessing limited practice via a team decision on that one. Keep listening to our coverage on the Score , where... Read Full Story

A Message to You, Rudy

Dear Rudy, The next time you decide to spend prime stage time sneering and mocking Obama's experience from two decades ago as a "community organizer," perhaps you should consider the fact that your party's current nominee for Vice President also cut her teeth as a... community organizer . Oh wait, I'm sorry, every time I say "community organizer," I'm supposed to smirk and chuckle, right? Smirk. Chuckle. Y'all are awfully proud of Sarah Palin's experience as a PTA member , aren'tcha? But... Read Full Story

Unfortunately for Giuliani, Starbucks wasn’t hiring

From:  veritosity.com
So what’s Rudy Giuliani been up to now that his presidential campaign is over? As a former frontrunning presidential candidate, he must be awash in job offers, right? Well, no. Not really. Apparently, Rudy’s been advising a mayoral election in the Ukraine. Well, at least he’s getting out some. From the article: Who would have guessed that the next chapter in Rudolph W. Giuliani’s life would involve political consulting for an election in Eastern Europe? I guess anyone who... Read Full Story

What About Rudy Giuliani?

Rudy Giuliani has hinted for the first time that he may drop out of the presidential race if he doesn’t win the next state primary. But he also followed that up by insisting that he intends to win. “I expect to win it,” he said. “You don’t contemplate losing it. That isn’t something you do on the day of a primary.”Polls show that Giuliani is trailing badly in Florida, the state where he has poured most of his time and energy in his pursuit of the Republican presidential nomination. If he... Read Full Story

Giuliani and Edwards Drop Out of Presidential Race

Rudy Giuliani has dropped out of the presidential race on the Republican side and is now putting his hat in the ring of John McCain. I don’t want a Republican in the White House, but if there had to be one I would much rather it be McCain than Romney. Also, John Edwards has given up the race on the Democratic side, but so far I don’t see him endorsing anyone. We’ll see if that changes. I wish he’d get behind Obama rather than Hillary Clinton. He has to be on someone’s side, doesn’t he... Read Full Story

Giuliani risky plan may not payoff

The Miami Herald is reporting that in a recent poll for the Republican Presidential nomination, Rudy Giuliani has slipped to third. Giuliani has campaigned heavily in Florida with his "Big State" strategy for delegates; if the actual votes go according to this last poll, his campaign could be stopped cold in his first true test and he will be out of the race for sure. Some interesting quotes from Read Full Story
