Goldens Girls star Rue McClanahan has undergone surgery in New York. The actress went to hospital for a routine physical exam, as she had been experiencing shortness of breath, but her doctor found that she had a heart problem that required bypass surgery. A rep for the star told Entertainment Tonight: "She's doing great and the doctors say the surgery was a complete success.
