Rumer Willis Prepares for Lesbian Kiss on '90210'

House Bunny star Rumer Willis landed a guest role on the show 90210, and her character Gia will be seeing some lesbian action. Gia will begin a relationship with teenage mother Adrianna (played by Jessica Lowndes) in an upcoming storyline, but bosses have denied it's a bid to boost ratings.

The show's executive producer Rebecca Sinclair said: "This isn't a fling. We're coming at this relationship from a genuine place and not going, 'Let's do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.' This is a real aspect of teenager life that's interesting. And there's been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters."

Rumer, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, is due to guest star in the show for three episodes.

As for Jessica, she admits she is terrified about filming the scenes. She said: "I've never kissed a girl before so it's a little nerve-racking."

Jessica is not the only actress who has had reservations about shooting same-sex love scenes. Jennifer's Body actress Amanda Seyfried found it "weird" when she was forced to smooch with her co-star Megan Fox. She said: "It is just weird. It is a woman. With a woman's smell -- soft and floral-y -- and maybe the pheromones are different. Something about it felt uncomfortable for me."
