Ruud van Nistelrooy will miss the rest of the campaign due to injury Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to miss the rest of the season after he underwent knee surgery. The Madrid director Predrag Mijatovic has set his sights on signing the Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from Ajax in the winter transfer window. He believes that the Dutch goalscorer is the player the club needs to replace Ruud van Nistelrooy and has told the board that all other options can wait.
