Most of you may not know (I sure didn't until this article in today's Pittsburgh Tribune-Review ), that the Rooney's aren't the sole owners of the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to the PTR, Rita McGinley has owned 10% of the team since the 1940's when her father, Barney, got together with the late Art Rooney, Sr. to buy back the franchise. Maybe the Pittsburgh Steelers should have seen this one coming. Somehow, they didn’t.They didn’t believe they could lose to the rebuilding Chiefs, not a week after a loss to the Bengals seriously hurt their chances of repeating in the AFC North. That confidence – or maybe overconfidence – going into Kansas City was very evident.

Someone must have forgot to tell the Steelers that return season doesn't start until after Christmas. In the past eight games, the Steelers have allowed some type of return for a touchdown.  In the last two games, it has cost them in the final tally. Before the opening kickoff, Steelers radio broadcaster Tunch Ilkin stated that he thought the Steelers would not allow another return for a touchdown for the remainder of the season.  Oops. But...
