Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers will not bring back wide receiver and fan favorite Hines Ward next season. While the Steelers and Ward are disputing that report, it is inevitable that changes are coming.
"According to my sources, he won't be back there," La Canfora said. "So that's $4 million off the books." Ward has one year left on his contract, but the Steelers are about $25 million over the 2012 salary cap, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
