Samantha Ronson

Samantha Ronson is a professional DJ and musician. In 2000 she spun live for the MTV New Year's Eve 2001 show. She also was the first rock act signed to Roc-A-Fella Records, where she released four songs under the label and recorded her first album. Although the album was never officially released, a track was featured in the movie Mean Girls. Ronson is a co-owner of the NYC nightclub The Plumm, and is also known for her connections to such high-profile celebrities as Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and Joel and Benji Madden.

Michael Lohan Makes Peace with Samantha Ronson

Michael Lohan has repeatedly publicly disapproved of his daughter's lesbian relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson, but now says he's changed his mind about Ronson after having dinner with the couple. He said:
I had a talk with Samantha and I was wrong, I jumped the gun. I realized that all the things I’d heard about the drugs and the partying were a lie. I mean, she knows I’m Christian and there are certain things I don’t agree with. Maybe she was afraid that I would look at their relationship in the wrong way. But that’s not for me to judge. If my daughter’s healthy and happy and in a good relationship, I’m happy for her.

It was reported earlier this week that Lindsay Lohan was dismayed to see her father at a breast cancer benefit event at a horse farm in The Hamptons, but Michael insists he was actually invited by his daughter.

He added to Radar Online: "Lindsay called me up and invited me to come to the event. She told me she was going and when she saw me, I walked up and kissed her and we walked over to a corner and sat down at a table together. We were happy to see each other."
