She also was the first rock act signed to Roc-A-Fella Records, where she released four songs under the label and recorded her first album. Although the album was never officially released, a track was featured in the movie Mean Girls. Ronson is a co-owner of the NYC nightclub The Plumm, and is also known for her connections to such high-profile celebrities as Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and Joel and Benji Madden.
