The Parr Family And Frozone Finally Face Off Against The Underminer In 'Incredibles 2'
Let's just say they know exactly how to undermine the Underminer.
After a decade-long absence, the Incredibles are finally back in action! We'll be reuniting with our favorite superhero family in just a few days, and to heighten our already extreme excitement, a new preview clip has been unleashed. As fans know, the first film ended with a nail-biting cliffhanger. A gigantic drill wrecked the city, and the baddie responsible revealed himself as the Underminer. After the toothy villain declared war, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, and little Jack-Jack put on their masks, each one ready for battle. The sequel picks up where the first film left off.
Here's a quick refresher:
In the new sneak peek, the family tries to stop the massive drill from destroying City Hall and the rest of the town. Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible team up to steer Underminer away from buildings and civilians, while Frozone swoops in to save the monorail from straying off course.
Meanwhile, Violet and Dash take turns looking after their baby brother and helping their parents defeat the Underminer. Knowing the Incredibles, putting the villain in his place won't be a problem (as long as they can get over their petty family drama).
The Parrs' face off with the Underminer is only the beginning, though. After saving the city, they get a visit from telecommunications CEO, Winston Deavor, who wants to collaborate to put an end to the Supers ban. Winston seeks Elastigirl's help to run the campaign, which leaves Mr. Incredible at home with three kids. Unsurprisingly, full-time "dadding" proves to be more challenging than fighting off villains.
Incredibles creator Brad Bird returns for the sequel to write, direct, and voice Edna Mode. Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sarah Vowell also reprise their roles as Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone, and Violet. Huck Milner replaces Spencer Fox as Dash Parr, and Jonathan Banks takes on Rick Dicker for the late Bud Luckey.
Incredibles 2 arrives in theaters June 15.
