Samuel Levin Sued By Nicolas Cage for Leading Him to 'Financial Ruin'

But Cage doesn't want to shoulder all the blame for his financial difficulties, and is instead pointing a finger at his former business manager, Samuel Levin.

Cage has filed a lawsuit against Levin for leading him down a path of "financial ruin," asking for $20 million minimum. According to TMZ, the suit claims Levin was reckless with the actor's money, and that's why Cage has had to sell off his properties and owes an immense sum in taxes. The suit claims, "Levin placed Cage in numerous highly speculative and risky real estate investments, resulting in Cage suffering catastrophic losses."

The bottom line, as TMZ explains, is that Levin never told Cage to stop buying stuff because he didn't have the cash. Oops.
