This has been a tough year for America’s Finest City. There has been destruction of homes by wildfires and landslides. Then there’s the San Diego real estate market which has taken a needed serious slide that has resulted in a record number of foreclosures and short sales.

You remember the story of Clarence Good – the gentleman who along with a handful of heroic apartment dwellers, helped save the life of women and her two children from her knife-yielding husband in their Lemon Grove, CA apartment.
Clarence Good was hanging kitchen cabinets in an apartment unit when a neighbor burst in pleading for his help. Good immediately went to the apartment where the husband was threatening his family with a knife.

SignOnSanDiego reports that 4 firefighters have been injured in the major wildfire outside of San Diego, CA. One death has also been confirmed.
